Friday's Letters.

Dear BrainWake up! I don't know what I was thinking the other day...! I am consider myself a good driver. I don't speed, I'm normally not too aggressive, and occasionally curse while driving. I have been driving for 10 years now and have never been in an accident. Wednesday morning, it was like my brain went on auto-pilot or something; I don't know how else to describe it. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw green, and my brain said go. When I realized what I had done, I was horrified (I still am). I am truly lucky nothing terrible happened to anyone else, or myself. Ugh! Dear meI have too much stuff! The amount of body sprays and creams I have, I honestly don't need to buy any for the next year or two. Same with clothing. Its crazy how much I have and don't actually wear. I already have 4 green garbage bags full of stuff. All of it is being donated; some of it I could probably take to a store to sell second-hand, but that just seems like too much effort. Dear young meAll those one-hit wonder boy bands, why would you spend your money on their cd's? Seriously? Sell them ASAP before the boyfriend realizes what a loser you were...!

Seven more sleeps.

Seven more sleeps until I move.

I am excited but nervous at the same time. I cant wait to take this next step in my life! But I am nervous about no longer living at home. I will miss my family and my dog a lot.

I am also really excited about having all my stuff in one location. I will have lots more time for exercising and blogging! I want to give my blog another face lift and start blogging daily.

Good things lie ahead...!

I am horrified...!

I cannot stop shaking.

I cannot believe what happened a short while ago outside of my house. Who could be so stupid to put their own life and the life of others at risk.

My parents are away for the evening. My boyfriend and I are at my parents home dog sitting. My step sister wasn't supposed to come home this evening, she was going to stay at a friends house. To my surprise, she came home to pick up something, then was out again. I asked if she would be home later, she said yes. When she came in, the dog was barking. At the time, I hadn't clued in that there was a vehicle outside the house. As she slammed the door and ran down the driveway, I stood in the window and watched as her friend got out of his SUV and she jumped into the drivers seat.

She does not have her license. She has supposedly never driven before.

I stood in the window horrified. In my socks, I walked outside yelling her name. She didn't respond so I walked out on the wet driveway until I got her attention. I told her to get out of the vehicle and explained the ramifications for driving without a license.

Seriously?! How can she be so stupid. If she wants to put her own life at risk, go for it, but do not risk the lives of innocent people because you decide it will be "cool" to drive. I am pretty sure she thought I was ruining her fun and doesn't understand the severity of what she was about to do.

I felt bad for sending a message to my parents and interrupting their evening, but they had to know. This is unacceptable. Perhaps I should have let her drive off, phone the police and let her deal with the ramifications. Maybe that would get the message across. Probably not.

I don't know what else to say.

Busy.

So much to do, not enough time.

I am currently working six days a week (two jobs) and trying to move my entire life from once place to another, yikes!

As I previously mentioned, I am moving at the beginning of August into my boyfriends apartment. This is a HUGE step for me as I am moving out from my parents home. It's going to be really weird not to live there any more, and not to see the family dog every day. I will still go home and visit him several times a week, but I will miss having him wake me up early in the morning just because he wants to say hi.

Since its only my bedroom we are moving, we don't want to pay $250 to book the elevator for the day. We don't need a day, we need 30 minutes. So, for the past week, I have been moving my stuff over in bits and pieces. I haven't decided if its easier to do it this way, or if I am putting more stress on myself. My reasoning for doing it in bits and pieces is that I can unpack and re-organize as I go along... and there is A LOT of re-organizing that needs to be done to fit everything into the apartment. I think we have too much stuff! Plus, some of us don't feel the need to get rid of the old, and that's fair, but it adds more stress on me to try and make everything fit in a small space.

Anyways, I promise I'm not neglecting my blog because I'm bored of it, I am finding myself spending more time at home (no laptop) and less time at the apartment (laptop) as I try to organize, pack and throw out/donate all my stuff. Maybe just under 20 sleeps until the final move..! I can't wait.

What the heck...!

What a week...!

Tuesday. Finished work early in the afternoon, went home and spent the afternoon washing and cleaning my vehicle. My parents home is on the corner of two streets. At one point, three boys were skateboarding right outside our house, near the corner where cars often turn quite quickly onto. They were also being rather noisy and were scaring the dog. We asked them nicely if they minded going somewhere else. They said no and carried on their way. Later in the evening, they came back. Again, they were asked nicely -- this time they said their mom said they could skateboard wherever they want and it was okay, and they ran home. Shortly after, the mom showed up knocking on our front door quite angry and threatened to phone the police because her boys were harassed and assaulted. What?

Wednesday. While at work today, I found out that a customer showed up a week early for an appointment he made over the phone with me. The policy is that they either have to make them in person or via email. He was in a rush over the phone, so I confirmed the booking and let it slide. Why dont people own up to their own errors? Only one customer can book at a time, and others were already book on the day of question. Instead, he speaks negatively about me to the general manager. Thanks buddy.

After work, I arrive at the boyfriends condo (my soon to be new home). I needed to grab a few items from my car, so I went back out and when coming back in, there was some random dude trying to get buzzed in. I scanned my fob, and he jumped back and was surprised to see someone. Apparently watching me walk up behind him wasn't apparent enough. I guess when I scanned my fob, it cancelled his request and when he walked up to me, he kept going on and on about it. I told him I was sorry, but he proceeded go off on how he was joking about what he said to me and I'm too serious. When the elevator arrived, he announced he would take the next one and proceeded be a jerk with his comments.

When I got home tonight, I found out the police had been at the house because of that lady. She is being protective of her kids and feels they can skateboard wherever they want. If you are so protective, where is your parent supervision - these boys are under 10 years. They don't even live near our house. There is a playground and skateboard park a block away from their home, but she insists they should play on the road. If they get hit by a car, its not their fault, its the drivers. This entire situation is completely wacked. It's now a waiting game to see if she takes it any further. Ughhhhh!

Sunday Social.

Sunday Social

1. What is your favorite TV show of the past?

This is a tough question because I have so many that I used to watch. If I have to pick only one, I would have to say Beverly Hills 90210. Started watching it at a very young age (I was probably too young!) and watched it until the very end. I also loved to watch Gilmore Girls, The OC, Dawson's Creek. Oh, and One Tree Hill.

2. What is your current favorite TV show?

I have too many to pick just one. Hart of Dixie, Grey's Anatomy, Girls, Game of Thrones, Pretty Little Liars, The Lying Game, 90210, The Big Bang Theory, Gossip Girl, How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife... the list goes on, and on!

3. Which reality show would you never do?

Survivor. I love to watch it, but I would not last a day out there.

4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do?

The Real World. Another show that I love to watch.

5. What TV character do you feel is most like you?

That's a great question. Probably Rory from Gilmore Girls. I really hope they come out with a Gilmore Girls movie -- I loved Rory and Logan (especially Logan)!

6. Which TV character would you want to date?

Logan from Gilmore Girls or Cary from The Good Wife. Love Matt Czuchry!

Help! I Need a New Computer!

I am in desperate need of a new computer...!

I'm torn between getting another laptop or getting my boyfriend to build me a new desktop computer. I currently have a HP laptop and it is on its way of being thrown off the balcony because it's a piece of junk! My reason for the desktop computer is to have a wide screen monitor. I want to spend more time playing around with photoshop, editing my photos and improving graphics on my blog. I don't enjoy it as much on a small 15" screen. The challenge of getting a desktop computer is where would I put it? Space is limited.

My next dilemma is Windows vs. Mac? I have grown up using Windows, but I am loving the new MacBook pro. I have never had a Mac computer, so I'm hesitant to drop $2500 on the latest MacBook. I have the newest iPad and I LOVE it. I'm patiently waiting for the new iPhone to come out in September. It would only make sense to get the MacBook pro? Thoughts? Suggestions?
